Students

Growing together.

Whoever you are, wherever you're from, you are welcome here.

At Fellowship Baptist our Youth are very important to us. Each one is loved by God and He wants a relationship with every one of them. Our goal is to show them what a relationship with Jesus looks like, and how to get there. Every activity and Bible Study time is designed to point them to Jesus.
Sundays we meet in the church basement for Sunday School Small Groups @ 9:45am. Warfield & Shannon Dershem teach this Small Group time. We then go to Morning Worship with the whole church.
Every Wednesday evening we meet at The Cave, our Youth room, in the back of the Downtown Building. We feed them dinner at 5:30pm in the front and go to the back for Bible Study at 6:00. This Bible Study is taught by Britney Mace. Dinner is prepared & cleaned up by Sandy Dershem and Alma Hayes.
All workers have passed background checks to be able to teach & work with students.

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

We encourage all our students to go deeper with God by reading and studying His Word. The more we get into His Word, the better we know Him. That should be the goal for each of us. We are here to help parents lead their students closer to Jesus. It is first and foremost, according to Scripture, the parent's job to provide them with a basic biblical background, and help them build on that while they are in their home.

We have parents ask us all the time what translation of the Bible should they should get their student. We always think - one they can read and understand. A Bible with study helps is always good. Make sure it is a translation and not a paraphrase, if it is their only Bible. Middle School students probably don't need the same kind of Bible as a HS Senior needs. We'd love to help you figure it all out.
